Jeter, our little big man. Small in stature, big in heart. A people magnet and dog lover. The sweetest of the sweet with the smile of an angel. A heart mender who gave us a lifetime of love. Joyful and skilled on the “dog playing field.” When sidelined by neuropathy in his later years, he retained his beautiful Golden personality and learned to play lying down. Well loved by Cooper James, his forever brother, and Smiley, his foster brother — we know the two Big Boys were waiting to greet him at Heaven’s Door. He was the best of the best and a real survivor. We will never forget you, Jeter.
