Lillie is a very energetic 7 month old female. She had a rough start in life at her previous home and was surrendered to GRRNT by her owner due to changes in their household and a too-busy work schedule.

She is still very much a puppy and likes to play a lot. She gets very excited when you first come home. Although she does have a lot of energy, Lillie is a very quiet dog. She will bark to alert you, or sometimes to entice someone to play.

She is already crate trained and is quiet and content in it, and she’s house-trained to the doggie door. She is very gentle when taking treats from your hand,

Lillie does OK around kids but as a youngster herself, she still needs to learn not to play too rough. So a household with young children would probably not be a good idea for her. She is still learning what belongs to her and what does not. And she has done some counter-surfing, but her foster says they’re working on it.

We think Lillie would really benefit from a stable environment, with some obedience training and consistent rules. It would be best if she could be with a family who will give her plenty of exercise and attention to absorb her puppy energy.

Because Lillie is still so young, she has great potential to become the dog you’ve always wanted. She doesn’t have bad habits - she just needs to learn what is expected of her. And if you make her part of your family, she’ll give you all the love she has.
