Baker - #08-098
Male - 9 years
Baker is a wonderful 9-year old boy who was turned into animal control because
his owner was too ill to take care of him.
It appears that he has always been well cared for, as he is in very good health
and he has nice manners. He knows “sit” and “down”, and probably other commands
we haven’t tried yet. Baker makes a good doorbell and does an excellent job
alerting you to visitors at the door.
Baker enjoys going in the car, walking with you or just hanging out wherever
you are. He is more of a Golden Catcher than a Retriever. Tug rope is his
favorite game, and he still has some pep, but is generally a mellow boy.
He is good with other dogs, cats, and is friendly to everyone he meets. He also
loves a good scratch on his hips and will do a dance for you when you find just
the right spot to scratch… “oooh, that feels gooooood”.
Baker is a gentle, sweet and calm boy who loves attention and leans in for
petting; his foster dad describes him as a love cushion. This Golden Oldie
deserves a devoted forever home to spend his senior years in where he will be
loved and pampered. If you are looking for a polite, gentle companion to spend
your time with, come meet Baker.
